Emma Watson is a national award-winning dancer, choreographer, and scholar from Arlington, Texas. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. Beginning her training at age 10, Watson danced at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy and Momentum Dance in Dallas-Fort Worth, where she was able to experience concert and competitive dance simultaneously. This foundation prepared her to dance with Whim W’him Contemporary Dance Center, The Joffrey Ballet, Oklahoma International Dance Festival, and Celebrity Dance Competitions where she traveled with the company for 3 years as an assistant. Watson made her mark in 2023 behind Rihanna, dancing in the Super Bowl LVII Halftime show with choreography from Parris Goebel.
Watson has directed numerous shows, utilizing her craft of writing, producing, casting, lighting, sound scoring, and choreographing to create works that test the boundaries of the human experience. Her work has been nationally recognized by the American College Dance Association Conference, Dallas Summer Musicals, and the Schmidt & Jones Awards. Her accolades include “Best Choreography”, “Most Professional”, and selections for Gala performances. Executing everything with style, she even holds three “Best Dressed” awards.
